Michelin Ultraflex Technologies

On the Ground

The key to economic success of your farm: the best possible crop yield!
And your most precious asset: healthy soil! It is therefore important to protect it by reducing compaction and ruts.

Innovation agricultural tyres created primarily to optimize your agricultural yield, the key to economic success

The solution: Agricultural tyres with MICHELIN Ultraflex Technologies

Thanks to these technologies, Michelin is able to produce farm tyres that deliver three important benefits: enhanced soil protection, considerably lower fuel consumption and greater longevity. MICHELIN Ultraflex technologies allow tyres to operate at lower pressures¹ while remaining resilient and strong. The increased footprint; distributes the load more evenly and reduces soil compaction. Your soil will allow your crop to utilise water and nutrients better improving the profitability of your farm.

How does it work?

Optimising your yield starts with the innovative tyre casing based on MICHELIN Ultraflex technologies. Agricultural tyres designed with modern MICHELIN Ultraflex technologies operate at lower than standard pressures while remaining durable and strong.

Result: Less compaction and rutting in your fields using the farm equipment you already own.

In addition, the longer footprint and ground contact area of the tractor wheel increases traction and puts the horsepower to the ground. Thanks to MICHELIN Ultraflex technologies, you can operate at low pressure, reducing ground compaction, and thereby preserving farmland. You save time and fuel, protect your soil and increase your yield, as well as the productivity of your farm!

The advantages

Greater soil protection

MICHELIN Ultraflex technologies produce a larger footprint, which protects the your soil of your farm from compaction and rutting.
Air and water penetrate more freely.  Conditions are therefore improved for maximum crop response.

More savings on fuel

The larger footprint considerably increases traction, resulting in a clear reduction in tractor wheel slip, enabling you to work faster and save on fuel!

Greater endurance and longer service life

Reinforced sidewalls and special rubber compounds make agricultural tyres with MICHELIN Ultraflex technologies extremely strong, even at lower pressure.

Result: Higher return on investment.

Exceptional load capacity

The same load can be carried by the MICHELIN® SPRAYBIB™ at up to a 40% reduction in air pressure, compare to standard technology tyres.

Excellent longevity

The reinforced casing of the MICHELIN® SprayBib based on MICHELIN Ultraflex technologies gives it a longer service life, even at lower pressure*.

Excellent soil and crop protection

Thanks to the lower pressure required, the MICHELIN® SprayBib for sprayers offers a 16% larger footprint compared with a standard technology tyre. Result: shallower ruts and less soil compaction.

Good road holding

On the road, even at lower pressure, the MICHELIN® SprayBib tyre offers remarkable comfort and excellent driving precision.

Time saved

Thanks to its design, the MICHELIN SPRAYBIB allows you to work in very difficult conditions. With its excellent traction capacity, you will be able to get to your next job quicker.

2. For high horsepower tractors: MICHELIN AXIOBIB

MICHELIN® AXIOBIB : powerful and protective

You expect the best performance from your farm equipment, regardless of the weather and soil conditions. The MICHELIN Axiobib agricultural tyre enables you to make the most of your high horse power tractors.Operating at low pressure with a larger footprint, MICHELIN AxioBib tyres also give you a higher load capacity when carrying and towing large implements.

These tyres contribute actively to improve productivity of farms, protecting the soil and reducing operating costs.

Excellent soil protection

MICHELIN® AxioBib works best at low pressure. Your benefit: the larger footprint and the reduced pressure on the soil results in a considerable reduction in ruts and soil compaction.

Great traction

The large footprint* increases the traction capability of the MICHELIN® AxioBib tyre. This reduces the amount of slip of your tractor wheel as well as your fuel consumption.

Excellent load capacity

Thanks to MICHELIN Ultraflex technologies, the MICHELIN AxioBib tractor tyre can carry heavy loads at lower pressure. A MICHELIN® AxioBib  gives up to 20% more load capacity compared with standard technology tyres.

Time saved

Its excellent traction enables the MICHELIN® AxioBib to make full use of the power of your tractor even in difficult conditions, which reduces your work time, saving you money.

Extended service life

The MICHELIN Ultraflex technology casing with reinforced sidewalls gives this high resistance tractor tyre an excellent service life even at low pressure.

Good road holding

On the road, even at lower pressure*, the MICHELIN® AxioBib offers remarkable comfort and excellent handling of the agricultural vehicle.

3. For Combines : MICHELIN CEREXBIB

MICHELIN® CEREXBIB: greater mobility at low pressure for combines and forage harvesters

The MICHELIN Cerexbib tyre makes an efficient contribution to the smooth rollout of your annual harvest, while at the same time protecting the soil for next year’s crops. With a higher rate of deflection than conventional tyres, the MICHELIN CerexBib has a footprint that is larger than conventional tyres, reducing soil compaction.

Excellent load capacity

A MICHELIN® CerexBib is hard wearing and gives up to 40% more load capacity compared with standard technology tyres.

Excellent soil protection

MICHELIN® CerexBib functions at low pressure due to the new design capability of the sidewalls. Your benefit: a considerable reduction in rut formation and soil compaction thanks to the greater ground contact with the tyre.

Great traction on slopes

The larger footprint* (more tread blocks in contact thanks to a higher rate of deflection) of the MICHELIN® CerexBib considerably increases traction capacity of the combine or harvester, even on sloping ground.

New – rear tyres!

Because soil protection, flotation and control are important when choosing the wheels for combines and forage harvesters, MICHELIN® CerexBib is the first agricultural tyre specifically designed for both the front and rear axle.

Extended service life

The MICHELIN Ultraflex technology casing with reinforced sidewalls gives the tyre an excellent service life even at low pressure*. Michelin is helping farmers improve productivity with these tyres, developed for the latest generation of farm machinery.

Good road mobility

The reduced pressure on the soillower operating pressure  of the MICHELIN® CerexBib™ tyre will allow a smooth ride from field to field.

4. For tractors between 80 to 200HP: MICHELIN XEOBIB

Work at 15 PSI or less, MICHELIN® XEOBIB, increase your profitability and protect your soil from the effects of compaction. A crucial phase in the growing cycle is soil preparation which is often soft and fragile at that time. This means that the soil must be protected while being worked.

These tyres contribute actively to improve productivity of farms, protecting the soil and reducing operating costs.
